Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) is back this 12th and 13th September 2015, with a brand new line-up of top-notch pop culture personalities to make waves at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center!

Aside from a spectacular cast of comic book luminaries, STGCC has also invited renowned Japanese manga artists and character designers — Neon Genesis Evangelion’s Sadamoto Yoshiyuki, and KILL la KILL’s Koyama Shigeto.

Sadamoto Yoshiyuki

Sadamoto Yoshiyuki is one of the most prolific and well known character designers and Manga artist, hailing from Japan. Hehas designed characters for many hit titles, namely: Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise, Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Neon Genesis Evangelion, FLCL, DIEBUSTER, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, Rebuild of Evangelion, and Wolf Children. In recent years, he has worked on original character designs for the short film omnibus GAMBO from SHORT PEACE, and is currently working on the Manga “Archaic Smile”.

Koyama Shigeto

Koyama Shigeto is an active designer in Japan’s media industry. Making his debut in the industry as a mechanic and guest character designer for Aim for the Top 2! (DIEBUSTER), Shigeto has participated in many notable titles such as HEROMAN, Eureka Seven, Gurren Lagann, Rebuild of Evangelion, Panty&Stocking with Garterbelt, KILL la KILL, STAR DRIVER, and BIG HERO 6. This year, he directed his first short film Obake-chan from “Japan Animator Expo”.
