If designer vinyl is your thing, then STGCC has something in store for you! Come and see German artists Mark Landwehr and Sven Waschk of “coarse”, famous for their distinct sculpting style that make vinyl goodies look like they were chiseled from rock.

With products cast, handcrafted, and finished in Hamburg and Hong Kong, their works are available in art toy stores and galleries across 32 countries. Their works have become admired and highly covetable by art and toy collectors around the world.

In 2011, coarse took home the first prize at the Designer Toy Awards for “Outstanding Production”, and this year, SEA fans are in for a huge treat as the artists will be designing STGCC 20120 exclusives available only at the convention!

If comics are more your thing, then Marvel Comics illustrator Leinil Francis Yu will also be joining the line-up at this year’s STGCC. Best-known for his work on the Wolverine comic series, Leinil’s graphic style can also be seen in other popular titles including Uncanny X-Men, New Avengers and Superman: Birthright, Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk and Marvel’s 2008 Epic: Secret Invasion.

STGCC will be held at the world-famous Marina Sands Expo and Convention Center on the 1st and 2nd of September 2012; for ticketing details, go to singaporetgcc.com/buy-tickets. You can also get updated on the latest happenings at singaporetgcc.com!
