Close to 6,000 Pokemon fans of all ages, genders, and nationalities trooped to The Promontory @ Marina Bay for the first Pokemon Run in South East Asia!

One of the highlights of the run was the participation of the Pikachu Army — who came all the way from Japan, to cheer all the runners on as they made their way past the beautiful Singapore skyline.

The 5-km fun run saw no winners and losers, as everyone who finished the course got to take home a Pikachu Gold Medal all their own!

Special fans also got to meet Junichi Masuda — one of the founding members of Game Freak and is best known as a game director and composer for the Pokémon games.

It was a great way to enjoy a day with the whole family, and we hope the organizers hold another one very soon!
