Via Crunchyroll: One Piece Film Z will be released in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Korea in the first quarter of 2013. Please note the absence of the Philippines in that list 😐
However, the good news is Toei Animation is planning to release the film in Europe and North Americas well — which means that if we pull another Rurouni Kenshin and demand local cinemas to screen the film here, there is a huge chance they will show the film here.
For now, let’s keep reminding SM Cinemas (who screened Rurouni Kenshin just last month) how much we want to give them our money. Or, we can convince other cinema chains like Robinsons Malls and Ayala Malls to get on the Japanese film bandwagon.
Yeah, they should show more anime movies like, K-On! and One piece.

You’re right! And I think the best way to let cinema owners and operators know that we want Japanese films is to vote with our money — watch and rewatch films locally when they are released. Also, we should stop buying from piracy syndicates who mass produce and sell torrented anime >.>
