Don’t have a decent set of pipes to join the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines’ J-pop Anime Singing Contest? No worries! A Mini Cosplay Event is open to all Filipino cosplayers from all ages who can cosplay character from Japanese anime, manga, movies, TV series, J-Pop and J-Rock personalities.

Interested cosplayers are required to submit a duly-accomplished application form, and include a 2×2 photograph, a full body photograph of them in costume and a photo of the character they are portraying. Application forms can be downloaded at ph.emb-japan.go.jp.

The Embassy of Japan will be selecting fifteen entries who will qualify for the Grand Finals, to be held on July 21, 2012 (Saturday) at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
