More deboxing coming up — this time our hapless victims are the Sega Prize Panty and Stocking Premium Figures. This pair was released as prizes for arcade machines in Japan. However, they are so amazingly well-made I can’t believe they never thought of releasing them as official merchandise.

      

      

Each figure — angel versions of both Panty and Stocking, is about ten inches high. They include matching bases which are bolted to the ladies’ feet, so that makes the bases stable and difficult to lose. The figures are beautifully made and can pass for retail figures — they actually have better moulds and paint jobs than some official merch.

      

      

The major bummer in all this though is the fact that they do not have any accessories whatsoever — not even a handgun or a sword 😐 That, however, does not detract from the osm-ness of it all. Let’s face it — these are supposed to be freebies, and freebies of this quality are like diamonds.

There is also the no-small matter of pricing: we scored this pair at the Festival Hall of AFA 11 in Singapore, where a dealer was selling both of them for SGD 56. Best bargain ever! Definitely going back to the same dealer this year to see what other deals I can score ❤
