Considering the number of toy collectors obsessed with Kaiyodo’s Revoltech Danbo and Mini-Danbo, I’m surprised other manufacturers have not cashed into the craze sooner.

But to their credit, Kotobukiya is making up for lost time by releasing their new Danboard Plamo — or “Danboard Heavy Arms”, as I like to call it, in June 2012.

      

      

      

      

Aside from the bad-ass weapons, this new Danbo is also completely modular — with all of its limbs and other parts fitting into its head and body for easy storage.

The Koto Danboard is priced at JPY 2800, and is fully compatible with weapons and accessories from other Kotobukiya models.
