Via ANN: The World Cosplay Summit (WCS) organizers announced that Russia and the United Kingdom will be competing at the international cosplay event held annually in Aichi Prefecture next year.

The UK pair will be chosen at London’s Hyper Japan 2012 event, while the Russian competitors will be selected at a Japanese culture event in Moscow also in 2012.

The World Cosplay Summit is an international cosplay competition with representatives from Australia, Brazil, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, and the United States. The Philippines is currently working on its accreditation via Cosplay.PH.
