AME Monogatari: The 2011 UP Anime and Manga Enthusiasts Fair

UP AME — the University of the Philippines Anime Manga Enthusiasts, is once again welcoming fans of anime, manga, and cosplay to their annual fair! AME Monogatari: The 2011 AME UP Anime and Manga Enthusiasts Fair is slated for 12th November 2011 at the World Trade Center, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City (MAP). Gates open at 11AM.

This year’s event features a plethora of Japanese ghouls and goblins — including the Kitsune and the Kappa, the Yuurei and the Youkai.

Come in your best Japanese period attire and have at go at their Game Booths, Love Shrine, Fortune Telling tables, and the special Spirited Cafe. Put your skills on the line with their art and writing competitions. Or, you can ramp up your cosplay plans and go toe to toe with fellow fans at their Cosplay Competition.

Presale tickets are pegged at PHP 130 while onsite tickets are at PHP 150; a portion of the proceeds will go to the Japanese disaster relief efforts. Presale tickets are still available for pick up — but hurry, they are on hand for a limited time only! The University of the Philippines Anime and Manga Enthusiasts (UP AME) is an officially recognized and accredited organization in the Diliman campus. UP AME is one of the oldest and most respected organizations of its kind, paving the way for other organizations such as UPLB’s SOMA Soshiki and UP Manila’s OMAKE.
