The Best of Anime 2011

Get ready as The Best of Anime levels up for 2011!

This year’s The Best of Anime 2011 is coming at you on the 17th and 18th of September from Function Rooms 4 and 5 of the SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center (MAP)! Featuring more exhibits, more activities, and more contests, The Best of Anime 2011 is an event not to be missed!

One of the convention’s biggest competitions is the All-Star Cosplay Contest — open to fans of anime, comic books, movies, video games, and everything else in between. Also happening at The Best of Anime 2011 are talent competitions such as the Otakus Got Talent! competition and the Anime Idol singing contest.

Artists can test their mettle at the Quickdraw competition, while video slingers duke it out for the Anime Music Video Contest. Last but not least are the fun family activities such as the Scavenger Hunt, Japanese street style-inspired fashion shows, and games and exhibits at the event’s Matsuri area. The Best of Anime 2011 will wrap up the event with its big anime music competition Music Festival Manila. Happening on the 18th of September at Function Rooms 1 through 3, the competition will settle the score on who is the best anime cover band on the Philippine scene.

The Best of Anime 2011 is a co-located event of the Manila International Book Fair, running from the 14th to the 18th of September 2011, also at the SMX Convention Center.
