A recent addition to the Tournament of Champions, the TorCh II Bacolod leg was held for the very first time last 30th July 2011 at SM City Bacolod.

Walking away as Bacolod reps to this year’s Grand Finals to be held in Manila are Team BANKAI, composed of Steven Vivero and Edward Paul Angelo Amparado. The team’s winning performance came from the fighting game BlazBlue.

BANKAI took home products from Brother and My|Phone, as well as the honor of competing at the Tournament of Champions II Grand Finals to be held in Manila at Cosplay Mania 11. The winner of the finals will fly to SIngapore to compete in Anime Festival Asia 11’s Regional Cosplay Championships.

The next two TORCH II Preliminary rounds will be on 6th August 2011 at SM City Davao and 13th August 2011 at SM City Cebu. Congratulations to the Bacolod team and good luck to all contestants in the Davaoa and Cebu legs!
