Cagayan de Oro has placed its bets for the nationwide cosplay competition Cosplay Tournament of Champions II! In a succesful event held last 16th July 2011 at SM CDO Cyberzone, AC Hernandez and Zhel Guiral of Team M.A.R.C.H. Omega beat out two other pair with their costumes and performance from Dissidia 012 (Duodecim) Final Fantasy.
The pair has won a trip to Manila to compete at the competition finals at Cosplay Mania 11, as well as mobile phones and printers courtesy of event sponsors my|Phone and Brother.
M.A.R.C.H. Omega has overcome the first hurdle on the way to the Regional Cosplay Championships at Anime Festival Asia 11. AFA 11 will be held from the 11th to the 13th of November 2011 in Singapore.
The next regional finals for Cosplay Tournament of Champions II are in Bacolod on 30th July 2011. Congratulations again to the pair from CDO!

They are awesome and they nailed it. Cosplay is not that easy and natural competition. You must standout from the other competitor and portray what character you are trying to expose. Good job guys and I’m a proud Kagay-anon.
