Metro Comic Con in cooperation with Cosplay.PH are proud to present the 2011 Metro Comic Con Cosplay Competition!

MCC will be held at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall on 7th and 8th May 2011.

With over PhP 10,000 worth of cash and prizes to be won, this is an exciting opportunity for comics and cosplay fans!

Registration for group cosplay participants will be held on 7th May 2011, while individual participants may register on 8th May 2011.

Cosplay groups must consist of five to ten members, including onstage support staff (aka stage ninjas), and only ten groups will be allowed to compete. There is no limit to the number of individual cosplayers for the competition.

All contestants are are required to submit a print-out of a full-body reference photo of the character upon registering (large hi-resolution images are encouraged).

Winners will be selected by three judges based on:

Craftsmanship: 40%
Accuracy: 30%
Stage Performance: 25%
Audience Impact: 5%

Contestants will be vying for awards in the following categories:

Best Male
Best Female
Best Child
Best Group
Best Pinoy Comics
Best Western Comics
Best Anime
Special Category: Best “V for Vendetta” Cosplay
