The Japan Foundation, Manila, in partnership with the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the UP Film Institute proudly invites film enthusiasts to a two-week film retrospective of the legendary Japanese film director and screenwriter Akira Kurosawa.

In commemoration of the 100th Birth Anniversary of the legendary Japanese director, the Kurosawa Film Festival starts on 14th September 2010 at the CCP Little Theater with the gala screening of “Throne of Blood”.

Regular screenings will be held at the CCP Dream Theater from 15th to 19th September (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and at the UP Film Institute from 22nd to 30th September (1:00 PM to 7:00 PM).
