It’s a season for big announcement by Japanese rock supergroups! L’Arc~en~Ciel has recently announced that its hiatus that started in 2008 will be concluded with a giant New Year’s bash in Tokyo to ring in 2011.

Dubbed “L’a Happy New Year!“, the event will be held at International Exhibition Halls 9 to 11 at Makuhari Messe on the 31st of December (Friday), 2010. Gates will open at 10:00 PM and the concert will include a New Year’s countdown to what will be the band’s 20th Anniversary.

The catch is, tickets will only be available to members of the Official Fanclub LE-CIEL. Only members with subscriptions that are active until the 21st of September 2010 will be eligible to purchase tickets. All new members who sign up after the 21st of September, or members whose subscriptions have expired before the cut-of date, will not be included in the ticket selling.
