Due to epic fail by the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminals 1 through 3, the scheduled coverage of Cosfest and the Asia Cosplay Meet Grand Finals by the site has been cancelled.

A low-lying haze covering Manila has compounded a technical problem with the international airports’ aircraft tracking and directing system. As a result, over forty flights were either delayed, diverted, or cancelled — including the flight we booked for the Singapore coverage.

Hundreds of passengers have been displaced, and there is a huge demands for replacement tickets. While we were able to secure new seats, we decided to cancel the bookings since they will arrive in Singapore at 4PM on 4th July — much too late to cover the weekend’s cosplay events.
