The Japan Foundation Manila is proud to bring the streets of Japan to the SM Mall of Asia with the Japanese Street Fashion Exhibit and Contest. The event will be held at the Main Atrium of the SM Mall of Asia on the 27th of February 2010.

The exhibit will feature photos from fashionable Tokyo by Filipino style blogger Cecile Zamora Van Straten (of CHUVANESS.COM) and fashion photographer Jujiin Samonte (of JUJIIN.COM). A splash of color will be brought to the museum by Manila Graphic Lifestyle pioneers TEAM MANILA.

Do you want to win a trip to Japan for two?! Then dress up in your street style best and join the Japanese Street Fashion Contest!

There are two ways to join: 1) take a hi-res full-body photo of yourself wearing your best Japanese street ensemble and e-mail it to email[at]jfmo[dot]org[dot]ph before the 24th of February; or 2) come to the SM Mall of Asia on the 27th of February 2010 and register for the contest before noon.

The winner of the competition — which will be judged at the 2010 Nihongo Fiesta, will win two round trip tickets to Japan courtesy of Cebu Pacific Air. He or she will also pocket PhP 7,000 in cash. The second prize winner will win PhP 5,000 in cash, and the third prize winner will take home PhP 2,500. A special winner will also be picked for the HP Special Award.
