I am so pleased to announce that magnetic-rose.net won the Culture & Arts Category of the Philippine Blog Awards 2009. The site also had a strong showing with the Reader’s Choice Awards, coming in fourth in a field of sixteen nominees. These are our first nominations to the PBAs ever and I am so thrilled that we did so well.
I would like to thank the wonderful people behind the Philippine Blog Awards for bestowing this honor on the site. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my most heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, affiliates, subscribers, commentators, and readers. The site would have never made it this far without you guys!
Congratulations to all the other winner and nominees, especially to our good friends: Nina, Kaoko, and the W3 Crew. Major props also to Eric for snagging one of the ten Digital Tribe awards as selected by the PBA and Globe Telecom. Good job guys and I hope that we can all get together again next year!
The Philippine Blog Awards are held annually to recognize outstanding blogs about the Philippines or written by Filipinos. The 2009 Awards Night for Luzon was held on 9th October at the PETA Theatre in Quezon City, while the Awards Night for Visayas and Mindanao will be coming up in the next few weeks. This year’s event was celebrated with the theme “One Blogging Nation”.
