Cosplay enthusiasts, and anime, manga, gaming, and J-pop fans are invited to the The 2nd Philippine Cosplay Convention, to be held on the 28th of March 2009 at The Atrium of the Robinsons Midtown Mall, Malate, Manila (MAP).

2009 PCC will feature not just Cosplay but also retail booths, exhibits, contests, and musical performances by Ongaku Society bands. Gates open at 10 AM; admission is absolutely free!

Echoing PCC 2008, the 2nd Philippine Cosplay Convention will once again have two main Cosplay competitions: Individual and Group. Only 150 individual entries and 5 groups of three to seven members will be accepted, so the organizers encourage all prospective contestants to pre-register online.

All contestants must submit photo references of their costumes, whether in digital form or as a full-color print out. Hard copies must be at least 3R and at most A4 in size. A full 360 degree view of the costume lifted from an official art book or illustration is very much appreciated, but not strictly necessary.
