With weeks to AFA Creators Super Fest Singapore 2023 (AFA CSF), organisers shared an updated line-up of the festival, as it makes its Singapore debut on 22 and 23 July 2023 at Singapore Expo. The festival will feature, across 7,000sqm of exhibition space, over 350 Creators from 15 countries and 38 top cosplayers in the biggest Cosplay Hub ever. Attendees can enjoy over 20 local and international acts on the Super Akiba Stage, and glean insights from educational panels and workshops in 16 Creators Lab segments.
“AFA CSF is a community-focused festival where established creators come together to exchange insights, share their experiences, and inspire budding creators. The team is working hard to add the finishing touches to the festival, and the support from the community to participate in this has well exceeded our expectations. We are energised to put together a strong showing for our first Singapore edition and welcome everyone from the region and beyond to join us in a world where passion comes to life,” said Shawn Chin, Founder of SOZO and organiser of AFA CSF Singapore 2023.
Inspired by Anime Festival Asia’s (AFA) Creator Hub, AFA CSF brings together a showcase of artists and creators from all over the world with a comprehensive line-up of activities. Art lovers of all ages can check out a range of artwork and merchandise, catch artists in action, make friends with fellow enthusiasts and even bring home a unique commissioned art piece. Attendees can learn from industry experts, catch the latest trends in the creative sphere, take part in exciting competitions, and connect with like-minded enthusiasts from the anime, gaming, and cosplay communities.
Tickets starting from SGD 19 (excludes booking fee) are available online, with weekend ticket bundle options as well.
Bring the World’s Premiere Talents together at Super Akiba Stage
Attendees can check out talk shows, performances, showcases and more by some of the industry’s biggest illustrators and performers, on stage.

Learn from artistic talents through workshops at Creators Lab
Get a rare opportunity to learn directly from the region’s top talents through a series of workshops and hands-on demonstrations. From digital art to cosplay crafting and tips to pursue a career in being a vtuber, the Creators Lab aims to empower aspiring content creators.
Workshop highlights include:
- Crafts: Dive into the world of Plastic Model Kits with a panel of experts as they share their experience, showcase recent builds and provide valuable tips to improve building skills.
- Cosplay: Pick up basic cosplay photography with a mobile phone and learn how to make cosplay photos stand out. Other cosplay hacks include wig styling basics, make-up, and the growingly popular male cosplays.
- Illustration: Glean art fundamentals, learn to sculpt collectable figurines in 3D, and explore artistic worldbuilding.
- Creatives: Learn how to be a Con(vention) Artist, Streaming and Vtubing basics, and check out a live demonstration of Kawaii Journaling. Industry veterans including Luis Esteves and Carillus and Cazz from Merryweather Media share their experience and tips on carving a career in the creative industry.

Hundreds of artists will showcase unique artwork, merchandise and apparel at the expanded Creators Hub. Featured creators include:
- Sherms, a full-time artist based in Singapore, with a passion for creating unique merchandise with her illustrations
- Demonicas, a freelance artist who mostly draws fanart, original art, and short looping animations
- Illustration group Daiyaku
- Peach88, a Malaysian illustrator and comic artist
Meet and shop with guest cosplayers at Cosplay Hub
Meet and purchase exclusive merchandise from 38 of the region’s top cosplayers at Cosplay Hub, including heavyweights from Malaysia and Singapore. Guest Cosplayers include Knite (Australia), Miho (Philippines), XiaoYukiko (Singapore) and Yingtze & Prestonles (Malaysia).
In addition, educational institutions, studios and companies in the anime, gaming and toys scene will showcase their offerings at AFA CSF.
