Notorious Japanese Manga Pirate Arrested at NAIA

Via SORA News: Romi Hoshino, known as online as Zakay Romi and founder of Japan’s most notorious manga-sharing website, was arrested at Ninoy Aquino International Airport as he attempted to board a connecting flight to Hong Kong.

Hoshino is believed to have been the man behind Manga Mura which regularly uploaded manga scans without obtaining any sort of licenses from publishers. Manga Mura was estimated to have cost the Japanese publishing industry at JPY 320B in collectove damages.
