The Malaysian state of Penang will be hosting the second Penang Anime Matsuri themed, Magical Summer, PAM16. PAM16 is a family friendly festival (Matsuri) focusing on Anime, Cosplay, Games (ACG) and Japan pop culture. The festival will take place in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town on 21 and 22 May 2016 at Dewan Sri Pinang and the Penang Esplanade.

Applications to the Penang Anime Matsuri 2016 Creator’s Hub are now open! Please note that this is a registration of interest for the ballot and DOES NOT confirm your participation in the event. If you have been short-listed via ballot and artwork review, you will be contacted by a representative of PAM16 for a follow-up. The closing time and date for applications is 23:59 PM on 16 March 2016.
