I had one of my favorite lunches whenever I am in Tokyo, which is a tonne of gyoza with rice and maybe some chicken on the side (my two favorite places are the Nagasaki chanpon place Ringer Hut, and the chuuka soba place Hidakaya — check them both out!).
The rest of the day was spent noshing on doughnuts, takoyaki, and every possible kind of chicken dish they have come up with in Hokkaido. I can already feel my waistline expanding
The girls at the chicken restaurant found out that our group was composed of half Japanese an half Filipinos so they made some fancy “friendship” and “cultural relations” lettering on our jelly desserts — cuties 😀
