The Government of Japan is issuing a call for applicants to the 2015 JENESYS Programme, which aims to promote a mutual trust and understanding among the people of Japan and the Philippines and promote global understanding of Japan’s society, history, diverse culture, politics, and foreign policy.
The programme will run from the 11th to 20th October 2015. Nine (9) participants will be selected to take part in the program. The deadline of submission of complete application requirements is on 13th September 2015 at 5:00 PM.
To qualify, you must be a student, aged 18 to 30, enrolled in a college or university under an Undergraduate or Masters program. Former participants in previous JENESYS Programs and other Japanese scholarship programmes are disqualified.
Applicants must submit all accomplished application forms, a Certificate of Enrollment, a Certificate of Good Health, and a copy of their passport with validity of at least up to 21st April 2016. The applicant must also write a one-page essay on “Japan’s Cultural Influence in the Philippines”.
