Call for Applications to JENESYS 2.0: Cool Japan

The Government of Japan is issuing a call for applicants to the 2014 JENESYS 2.0 programme with the theme “Cool Japan”. The programme will run from the 26th of May to 3rd of June 2014. Twenty-two (22) participants will be selected to take part in the program.

To qualify, you must be a student, aged 18 to 30, enrolled in a college or university under an Undergraduate or Masters program. Former participants in previous JENESYS Programs are no longer qualified to apply for the new program.

Applicants must submit all accomplished application forms, a Certificate of Enrollment, a Certificate of Good Health, and a copy of their passport with validity of at least up to 30th November 2014. The applicant must also write a one-page essay on “Japan’s Cultural Influence in the Philippines”.

Applications must be sent via email (as a single PDF file) to internationalprograms [at] nyc [dot] gov [dot] ph. The deadline of submission of complete application requirements is on 4th April 2014 at 5:00 PM.
