Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention — undoubtedly one of South East Asia’s biggest pop culture conventions, is back this year with an even bigger and better line up of comic giants, toy industry bigwigs, and household names in gaming and animation.

Held last 31st August and 1st September at the faboo Sands Expo and Convention Center at Marina Bay Sands, the convention brought joy to the hearts (and massive gaping holes in the wallets) of comics fans young and old.

Dominating the skyline of the exhibitor hall was Galactus-sized booth by Marvel Comics — who were in town to promote an entire slew of titles, such as the Blu-ray release of (our favorite super hero movie BAR NOME) Iron Man 3 and the upcoming theatrical release of Loki Returns Thor: the Dark World. There were also premium giveays and quiz shows on the hour, every hour for Marvel fans, as well as signings with their artists Joe Madureira, Adi Granov, and much more!

Also dominating the exhibition hall was (their booth was so large it had its own gravitational pull!) high-end toy producer Hot Toys — who put up intricately customized displays featuring their previous and upcoming releases. As of that weren’t enough, they also flew in a 1:1 scale display of the Hall of Armors from Iron Man 3. From the rough and ready Mark I all the way to The Avenger’s Mark VII — it was a treat for die-hard Iron Man fans!
