Little Tokyo — Makati’s enclave of Japanese restaurants, held its first ever Sunday Fiesta last 24th February 2013. The restaurants — most of them owned and managed by Japanese ladies and gents, pulled out all the stops to bring delicious, authentic, and affordable Japanese eats to new diners and longtime fans alike.

      

There is really nothing much to report about the event because we were too busy stuffing our faces. Food glorious food! We had yakitori and takoyaki and tofu steak and maki and a lot of other things. And although the service was a bit slower to what we were used to because of all the people, our friends and the festive atmosphere more than made up for it.

      

Thanks to the success of this event, Little Tokyo will be announcing the date for a second Sunday Fiesta soon. The highlights will once again be the Karaoke Contest, the bazaar, and the food specials. If you guys missed the first one, we definitely recommend you join the next Sunday Fiesta!
