The Japan Foundation Manila is inviting Nohongo learners to take part in the 40th Nihongo Speech Contest. The event is slated for 23rd February 2013, with the venue to be announced later. The event will be held alongside the Nihongo Quiz Bee, and toogether they make up the JFM’s premiere event, Nihongo Fiesta.

The Grand Champion and the Outstanding Performance Awardee will each receive an all-expense-paid week-long study tour in Japan.

Entries are accepted until 16th January 2013 at the Japan Foundation Manila, 11F Pacific Star Building, Gil Puyat corner Makati Avenue, Makati City. Submit an accomplished entry form, a printed copy of your speech, and a CD recording of your speech (maximum time is five minutes).
