Continuing last year’s trend of bringing the best of Japanese cosplay to South East Asia, Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention 2012 (STGCC) will be flying in Touya Hibiki and Kousaka Yun to delight cosplay fans at one of Asia’s biggest pop culture conventions. Plus, look forward as MONOMIND comes to STGCC for the first time!

Touya Hibiki is well-known for her portrayal of male anime and manga characters — including Vocaloid Kaito, Kamui and Okita from Gintama, and Alto Saotome from Macross Frontier. Touya also regularly participates as a staff Cosplayer for Miku Party (Mikupa), Comiket and many other game events in Japan.

Another famous Japanese cosplayer coming to Singapore for the first time is Kousaka Yun — best known for her portrayals of manga characters Kobato Hasegawa (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai), Kagura (Gintama), and Madoka Kaname (Madoka Magica). Together, Yun and Touya have worked on themed shoots, bringing their complementary skills and talents to greater heights.

Last but not least, MONOMIND (DJ haLRu) of Japan’s Touhou club event “Onban Yakoh” (Monster Party), will be at STGC to take part in a deejay battle versus DJ Zanio from ZANEEDS This will turn out to be the ultimate Touhou vs Vocaloid musical showdown that fans will not want to miss.
