Ever played one of those Japanese escape-the-room flash games like Crimson Room and Viridian Room? Ever wanted to try it out in real life? If your answer is yes, then you’re in luck as Singapore hosts its first Real Escape Game!

Real Escape Game is a unique entertainment concept from Japan that has gone worldwide with events in Japan, China, the US, and now Singapore with REG: Escape from the Mysterious Cathedral. Just like the online flash games, participants find themselves locked in a room with a number of cryptic puzzles they have to solve, to find the hidden key and make their escape.

Exciting, fun, and devilishly tricky, Real Escape Game will challenge even the sharpest modern Sherlocks. But if you don’t make it out before time is up — don’t worry! The staff will unlock all doors and let you out in time for dinner 😀

REG: Escape from the Mysterious Cathedral will be held from the 27th to the 29th of January 2012 at Chijmes Hall, 30 Victoria Street.
