AME Monogatari: The 2011 AME UP Anime and Manga Enthusiasts Fair, took place this 12th November 2011 at the World Trade Center, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. With a dash of classic Japanese ghosts and ghouls, the 2011 fair proved to be a huge improvement over the previous year’s event — if my erstwhile body-double and photographer du jour Cat de Jesus has anything to say about .

      

      

      

      

      

      

Generally a success, except for a few mishaps with the lights and sounds — this event was a fantastic local alternative for Manila cosplay fans who couldn’t make it to AFA. We’re glad to see some of the issues from 2010 resolved to great effect. Congratulations again to the 2011 UP AME Fair Committee, and thanks for having us this year — scheduling conflicts and all. Looking forward to attending next year’s event in person! 🙂
