Japanese pop star and I Love Anisong headliner May’n has just wrapped up her second overseas tour with Unite! Asia Tour 2011 in Singapore! The Singapore gig caps off a successful tour that included stops in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Seoul, Taipei and Hong Kong.

      

      

May’n (Nakabayashi May) first came to fore as the singing voice of Sheryl Nome from the anime “Macross Frontier”. As Sheryl Nome, two of her singles hit the top of the Oricon charts — the first time in over ten years that an anime song has topped the Japanese “Billboards” since Shin Seiki Evangelion in 1997.

      

      

May’n is also a certified box office draw, with her 3D documentary film “May’n THE MOVIE – Phonic Nation” released Japan-wide as well as in Singapore. Nothing seems to stop this Japanese vocal powerhouse, and we wish her all the best with her future concerts. 頑張れ、部長！
