Japan: Kingdom of Characters

The Japan Foundation, Manila is proud to present Japan: Kingdom of Characters, a special exhibition running from the 7th of July till the 20th of August 2011, at the Catwalk Galleries of the Metropolitan Museum of Manila.

The exhibit will be open Mondays to Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 18:00 PM.

The exhibition will feature anime and manga characters as an aspect of Japanese culture which has attracted worldwide attention. Statues of world-famous Japanese characters such as Hello Kitty, Ultraman, and Gundam RX78, will be on display, as well as framed photographs of Suzumiya Haruhi, Lum, and Doraemon.
