Via Andriasang: Weekly Shonen Jump has broken news that a sequel to Dissidia Final Fantasy will be released for the PSP in 2011. The new game is currently in development, and will be titled Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy.

In addition to the current cast, Final Fantasy XIII’s Lightning and Final Fantasy IV’s Kain will make their debut as as playable characters.

World-renowned Final Fantasy character designer Nomura Tetsuya has hinted earlier of the video game’s existence, as a possible playable demo at the next Tokyo Game Show
