The Japan Information and Culture Center is once again inviting all Japanese pop culture enthusiasts to the Grand Finals of the J-pop Anime Singing Competition. The event will be held on the 25th July 2009 at the Market! Market! Activity Center (MAP).

Ten groups will be battling it out for great prizes and the honor of being the first Grand Champion of the competition. They are: B-612, BAGE, HIKARI, MORNING STAR, MUCHOS PUERCOS, NEWTONE, RYUUSEI, SAKURA BEAT, SOS BRIGADE, and WHAT IS?!

The Embassy of Japan in the Philippines and The Japan Foundation Manila are holding this competition to celebrate the 2009 Philippines-Japan Friendship Month. The first ever J-pop Anime Singing Competition has been organized with the support of HERO TV, Toei Animation Philippines, 103.5 MAX FX, Ayala Malls Market! Market!, and the Nihongo Center Foundation.
