In a shocking and all-too-speedy turn of events, Japanese BL manga source JPQueen has closed its doors as of 25th June 2009. Orders posted by then will be shipped out by 8th July 2008, after which the future of the site remains unclear.

Currently, the website is still operational but most of its functionality has been stripped. Site admin has left a message on the Accounts page that an explanation for the closure will be given at a later date, but for now many of its loyal customers have been left in the dark.

JPQueen has been one of the best sources for BL manga in Japanese for international buyers, and I am deeply saddened to see it go.
