I want to win those tickets because I am a huge fan of yaoi since high school (a college graduate already) and I have never been in a bl convention even though I am aware of it. I want to know and experience what is in this con and I will look forward to this con every year. 😀

  2. Reason why I deserve to win the tickets. Because it’s actually not for me. I plan to give them to my two friends. The first friend being the one who made me realize I am not actually the only one who ships slash and encouraged me to write fics, and the second one was basically my sponsor for anything and everything anime when I was younger.

Reasons why I hope to win the the pair of tickets is that I am a fan of Yaoi for years (since 3rd grade in Elementary, now i’m 1st yr college; best friend introduced it to me) and I haven’t been to any convention or type of gatherings with fellow fans and I would like to know what it feels like to be with people who have the same interests with me. And being a fujoshi gave me wonderful and colorful imagination and thoughts about the real world 😀

(I plan to bring my friend if ever I win, a form of gratitude to her :D)

  5. The reason why I really want to win because I’ve been a yaoi addict / fan since I was Grade 6 student. I always love and support yaoi. There’s no day I’m not reading or watching yaoi. Yaoi is really big part of my life. If ever I will win, I promise I will enjoy and cherish moment with my co-yaoi mates and of course, be thankful.

  7. I want tickets because I went last year (it was on my birthday!) and enjoyed it very much, but at the time of selling for this year’s convention, I realized I was not going to be in Manila for the summer. However, I just found out that, at the last minute, my parents booked me a ticket to Manila in time for this year’s BLushCon, which is why I’m regretting my decision to not register. Now I really hope for this chance to get tickets so I can go (with a fudanshi friend who also wants to go) and enjoy a day with my fellow yaoi fangirls and fanboys 😀

  8. I really wanna get those tickets coz it will be my first time attending it. I’m a proud fujo and missing this convention will be a big loss. I already gave up when I heard that the tickets were already sold out, so I’m hoping that I’ll be lucky enough this time. *A*

The reason I want to win the ticket/s is because I want to re-experience the fun I had when I attended the first BLush Con dated back in Dec 2012. That time it was quite unfortunate that I am not able to meet new fujoshi/fudanshi friends since I’m quite shy of introducing myself to others. This time i have gathered my courage and wish to make new fujoshi and fudanshi friends. If I am lucky enough to win the pair of ticket, I will bring my closet fujoshi friend together with me in the con and make her realize that shipping guys or loving boy to boy romance is not a bad thing, and it is not something to hide. I want her to experience the happiness that I had felt the first time I went to a BL con in 2012.

  11. Same as everyone else, I’m a fujoshi and I really want to attend the convention with a friend who understands how crazy I am over the fandoms I have. I saw the photos from my friend who attended the first BLush con and it looked like fun! I wish to meet friends to share the same fandoms and OTP’s with 🙂

  12. FIRST OF ALL, I LOVE YOU MAGNETIC_ROSE FOR THIS RAFFLE I AM NOT EXPECTING THIS. I badly want to win the tickets because boy’s love is my life’s backbone. I’ve been learning a lot of things by reading surreal boy’s love stories. I am not a typical girl who likes straight gender relationships (but sometimes I tend to read Shoujo/Shonen manga volumes if found it fancy). But the bottom line is that reading BL manga volumes fascinate me and it made me think out of the ordinary. BL is unusual for some people because it involves gay people, but the authors empower their rights to live like straight people. I always believe that gay people are the gayest (happiest) people on earth! I deserve to win this because I want to know the people’s way of appreciating boy’s love. I don’t want my appreciation to be limited to my closest friends who know Yaoi/Shounen Ai. I really want to see a gathering where I could share the same interest that I have to others.

  13. Yaoi is one of my life’s getaway. Everything about it is Indelible and Splendid!

I learned a lot from it and taking part for a convention dedicated for all BL fans is just one of my many wishlist. I never knew BlushCon exist not until my friend shared it with me just 4 days ago. I mourned for a day when I found out all tickets were sold out, if lucky enough this would be my first time ;A; I YEARNED A LOT FOR THIS TO COME TRUE.

Why do I want to win the tickets:

I have been a fan of yaoi ever since Grade 5. I am now working (so that was a long long time ago in a galaxy far away). I attended Lights Out and the first BLush Con. I want to win the tickets, not just for myself but also for my officemate who really wants to go to BLush Con. She really wants it so bad that she’s willing to take a leave for this (yes, we have work on Saturdays). That is saying a lot because she doesn’t take leave for cons AT ALL. This is the only con she’s willing to take a leave of absence for. I need this ticket to break her workaholic tendencies.

  15. Why I deserve to win a pair of Blush Con tickets? when i was young, i thought this is an abnormality. but i was able to fully embrace it. I’m a proud fujoshi at heart, since Elementary!
…gosh, it’s been 20 years of full Yaoiness!! and even if i already have a son(yes, incredibly ironic perhaps)… i still love reading all these literature! in fact, i was reading a lot of Yaoi stuffs during my pregnancy. I desperately craved for it! i don’t know if it will affect my baby boy though I honestly wouldn’t mind if he turned to be into BL when he grows up.

Yaoi releases me from stressful work…reading BL during my breaks keeps me from getting hotheaded!!!I’ve been reading lots of different Yaoi themes makes me all giggly and sets me in a good mood to talk with my patients!

Yaoi made me an activist to promote fair rights for the LGBT community. at first, I never really thought of their emotions, but now, i totally understand them.
i wanted to meet the pinoy fujoshis and share our common love for BL… I see this as a communion of all the open minded Filipinos that think gender alone doesn’t define a person. It is love beyond gender, love for all humans, as I always say.

(sorry i wasn’t able to purchase the tickets because i gave birth! was hospitalized for 2-3 weeks sadly and took care of baby too…)

The only reason why I don’t have a ticket for this convention was that I really thought I would be out-of-town on May 3, up until last week. I am even willing to buy one ticket for more than the regular price if need be, but unfortunately, no one is selling. I loved the event last year. The panels were really great and the people were amazing! Please let me attend this one as well. I would love to get to know more fellow fujoshi out there, and not just online.

I don’t have major reasons like it’s my dream or what. I just simply want to enjoy being a fujoshi with my friends and going to a con like this would be my first time. Being a fujoshi in public takes a lot of courage and confidence. But all of those criticism are nothing for me because I enjoy being one and I am very pleased if I could also enjoy it with other fellow fujoshi out there besides my friends. So I am looking forward to this Con.
If I don’t get pick, I guess there would another chances… so to all fujoshi and fudanshi out there… hello~!! and keep loving yaoi ❤

  22. Why I want to win the ticket:

Yes, I am a fujoshi, but that is not the only thing that defines me. I’m also a japanophile, so I’m hungry for anything Japanese, especially when it comes to their culture. While most attendees are probably there for the sake of celebrating their fangirl feels, I also look forward to the talks, documentaries and panels that will discuss how this subculture came to be=)

  23. The reason i want to win is simply because BL is my passion. If I had known the tickets were only limited i would’ve gone out of my way to get one, but i know it wouldnt have been that easy too, especially that im just an ordinary university student. I want to win because I’ve been a huge fan of BL ever since elementary, and going to a convention that IS about BL, who wouldn’t be overjoyed to go to one? I could learn more and and at the same time enjoy my stay there because it is at the top of my interests and hobbies. It will be like a paradise going to a BL convention, and I can definitely say it will be a very pleasant experience for a longtime fan like me. and also for other fans out there.

  24. The reasons I want to have the tickets is because I want to again enjoy talking and fangirling to all BL fans. Unlike last year, the BLush Con has expanded I want to be a somewhat witness to its differences and growth, I actually thought I’ll be able to write a little review like last year T^T. Anyway, another thing that I want to see this year is the market. There are a lot more now and I want to be able to buy them as well 😀

I want to win those tickets so me and my friend (@5inbinary of Twitter) could attend this most anticipated event for Filipino fujoshis!

We terribly missed the chance to buy tickets last year, but I’m hoping we could still get the chance to come and see our friends. And of course have a lengthy discussion of shipping feels! Hahaha, there are just some things you’d rather talk with fellow fujoshis only and their boyfriends far far far away from your group. (I think we kinda traumatized one of the boys lol)

Not to mention, I wanna see and support my friends who will be selling this year. ♡ There’s really nothing like magical friendship and smexy boys on the front covers of your doujin collection. XD

Both of us missed the chance to buy the tickets but since her bday is on April 30, it would be a nice surprise gift for her…And yes, I’m milking the birthday issue for all its worth…LOLs…I, too, want to attend since I’m obsess but my reason doesn’t make it less true… *fingers crossed*

It’s actually been awhile since I attended a BL convention (first and last one was during 2008, which was Light’s Out, so I experienced the massive crowd during that time and didn’t get to stay for long) and I wasn’t able to attend the first BLushcon so I had to sell my ticket at the very last minute because I had to leave for an important family matter.

I was so looking forward to attend one of these cons with my friends so I’m hoping to be able to attend this year since this would be my last year here in the Philippines. I’d love to get a chance to experience 2014’s BLushcon, be able to interact with people who’re in the same interest as I am and finally get to see the changes (cosplay, merchandise, stalls, cafes, etc.) there would be at the con.

All for the best and hope this year’s con would be a great one. 🙂

First and foremost, I would like to thank everybody who are helping and constantly informing me for rare chances like these. I am very flattered that my fujoushi friends wish me to attend BLushcon as much as I do. Why didn’t I get a ticket? I was a bit reluctant at first, thinking that there are a few people at least on my circle who are into BL/yaoi and that I could purchase the ticket on the day itself. They proved me wrong. The fujoushi community indeed have multiplied or at least became more public in the recent years. I remember having trouble talking with anime/manga fans about yaoi and bl without getting embarrassed. Why do I deserve a ticket? I wish to meet and experience this one of a kind convention with my friends who are into yaoi. Having to share, talk and enjoy perverted stuff on one big event is just too fun! With the purest intention to this “impure” hobby, I wish to attend this year’s Blushcon 2014.
